This is a short privacy note for the Still Vegetarian website (Phase 0 / early launch). It is not a substitute for full legal advice. Update it when you add analytics, Stripe live payments, or email tools.
Who we are
Still Vegetarian operates stillvegetarian.co.uk (and redirects from related domains). Contact: hello@stillvegetarian.co.uk
What we collect
- Waitlist form: name (optional) and email, so we can tell you when sausages are available or share genuine updates.
- Email you send us: whatever you include in the message.
- Orders (when live): Stripe processes payment details. We receive order and fulfilment info needed to deliver — not your full card number.
- Analytics / ads (when enabled): Meta Pixel or similar may collect page views and events. Only after you paste a Pixel ID and uncomment the stub.
Why we use it
- To run the waitlist and reply to enquiries
- To fulfil orders when selling starts
- To measure and improve ads and the site (only if you turn those tools on)
- To meet legal and accounting duties
Legal basis (UK GDPR — plain English)
Waitlist and marketing emails: consent (you joined the list). Orders and invoicing: contract and legal obligation. Basic site security / logs: legitimate interests.
Sharing
We don’t sell your data. We may use processors such as:
- Formspree (or similar) for forms — when configured
- Stripe for payments — when checkout is live
- Meta / Cloudflare — if pixel and hosting analytics are enabled
- Email provider for transactional or list mail
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails: until you ask to leave, or the list is closed. Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where it applies, and you can withdraw consent for marketing emails. Email hello@stillvegetarian.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This static site does not set tracking cookies by default. When you enable Meta Pixel or similar, those tools may use cookies or local storage — update this page and add a consent banner if needed before going live with ads.
Children
This site is aimed at adults buying food. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
